Fabric Printing Process Details

Fabric printing requires rigorous raw preparation to avoid color bleeding or uneven print patches. At Fab-Ezy®, we follow a strictly monitored 5-stage printing process:

  1. Fabric Pre-treatment (Scouring & Bleaching): We wash the raw knit fabric loops to clear natural waxes and oils, ensuring perfect print ink absorption.
  2. Color Kitchen Formulation: Automatic paste mixers combine thickeners and pigments to match requested Pantone solid codes under D65 light index.
  3. Precision Application: Fabric passes under high-alignment screen loops or digital printer tables under constant tension to prevent print overlap.
  4. Steam Fixing (Loop Steamer): The printed fabric enters a curing loop oven at 150°C - 170°C to bake and lock the colors deep inside the fibers.
  5. Post-Wash & Stenter Boarding: The final fabric is washed to clear excess chemicals, then stentered to secure standard width and shrinkage values.

Shade Consistency

Pantone Color Matching & Lab Dips

For global garment exporters and fashion brands, maintaining exact shade consistency across production lots is critical. We use computerized spectrophotometers to match your Pantone TCX/TPG reference codes. Prior to final bulk print printing, we provide physical "lab dips" and mini strike-offs for buyer sign-offs.
